Newborn photography doesn’t have to be one of those overwhelming decisions! Let me guide you through the process and provide you with all the info you need to capture the sweet, early moments of your baby’s life.

“What should I look for when hiring a newborn photographer?”

It’s important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography. I’m dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. I understand the importance of capturing these moments, and it’s my passion to capture beautiful memories that you’ll be able to cherish for all the years to come!

“What can I expect during my newborn photography session?”

During your newborn session with me, I’ll work to create a comfortable and safe environment for your baby, and guide you through the posing process. I always start by coming into the home and immediately washing my hands! I want to be as diligent as possible even though I likely won’t be touching baby much. After that, I ask my families to show me around the home so that way I can pick and choose which rooms I think will offer the best lighting to promote the beautiful images we want to capture. From there, once the room we start in is selected, I have you simply start by just loving on one another… basically pretending I’m not in the room! I encourage parents and siblings to participate in our session… it makes it feel much more real and raw. If you have any specific poses or props/swaddles/stuffys in mind, I’m always happy to incorporate your ideas into our session!

To capture the best moments, it’s important to schedule your newborn photography session as early as possible, ideally within the first two weeks of your baby’s life. I recommend booking your session as soon as possible during your pregnancy to ensure availability.

“When will I get my photos?”

After the session, you can expect to receive the final edited photos within 2-3 weeks.

“How much does newborn photography cost?”

My in-home newborn sessions are $475. I know this might seem like an investment, but keep in mind that capturing the beautiful moments of your new arrival is a specialized service that requires a lot of time shooting, editing and also incorporates the cost of my equipment. I’m dedicated to providing high-quality images & products that you’ll cherish for a lifetime!
